Homework-6th  Grade

Dec. 10-14, 2007

Geography Bee  Dec. 10-12

We will be attending "The Nutcracker" on Friday morning.

Reading 

                                           5 book reports are required per nine weeks(3 AR and two on note cards)-due 12/17

                                                    "Casey at the Bat"-- we will do vocabulary, skill lessons, workbook pages.

                                          Test-Friday    

LANGUAGE  Shurley Study Jingles 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14                                                                    Study References 6,7,9,10,11,12 ,13,14,15, 16,17,18, 19,20,21                                    

 SPELLING - Unit 17 Monday and Tuesday write definitions with frist ten words then second ten words 

                                  Wednesday - Choose any ten words and write a sentence with each

Thursday-Study for test

SOCIAL STUDIES    We will be working on Chapter 7. We will work through the chapter doing a lesson per day.  We will define the vocabulary and usually have an activity book page for homework.  This chapter should take about six school days. Test - Monday  12/17

7th SOCIAL STUDIES

We are working on  chapter 8 section by section. We will be defining the words and doing the end of section assessment. Our    Chapter 8 test - Tuesday. We will then begin Chapter 9

8th Grade Social Studies

Chapter 7 test-Monday  We will then begin Chapter 8 defining vocabulary and answering questions at the end of each section.
